I watched the trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. It was very good in showing the audience what genre it was, it looked very exciting as you could tell there were all the features of a big production film. For example, the use of visual effects, explosions, battles, danger and also romance. This trailer is therefore very effective at advertisement of the film.

To attract an even wider audience they added modern twists by including suspense and danger.
The film contained the useful information such as the actors involved (Jude Law) which is a factor that attracts audiences, the release date, the production company and it also stated it was 'From the director of Sherlock Holmes'. Guy Ritchie is the director of King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, and also of adapted Sherlock Holmes, this is why it may appeal to the audience of Sherlock.
